Changing the World, One Step at a Time

Despite all the politicking over the Harry Potter series, I think J.K. Rowling has improved the world by promoting literacy. Being able to read and write well are important life skills, no matter how you look at it.

That said, I'm a little shocked over the $4 million auction price. One can only hope that it is going to the supposed recipients of the charity instead of the people running the charity, as in the case of National Kidney Foundation (NKF Singapore) scandal. You can bet that I will never, never, ever voluntarily donate to or join any organisation that is run by by Durai.
