Relocating Finally

It's going to be pretty hectic this week and the next few weeks. I've finally decided on an offer and negotiated some aspects of the contract. They've conceded to an additional $10K to my base salary after the 3 months probation period and have offered a relocation package. I'm set to fly off in the first week of March, find suitable long term accommodation in under a week, settle in and then start work in the second week.

I've mentioned my move to a few friends and they've all asked if I'm excited...Hmm..I was excited for a bit and then I've been preoccupied ever since. Getting the job just felt like it was something I had to accomplish, so once done, it's like an item to be checked off. Kind of how I felt when I graduated from university.

There are a lot of things I need to wrap up, stuff to pack and organise and arrangements to be made. The schedule is quite tight and to top it off, I've injured my back so I haven't been able to do a lot of things in the past couple of days. I just hope I have enough time to complete everything.
