Kayaking on the North Shore

We went kayaking on Tuesday late morning. The sky was overcast, the waters were calm and there were no boats breaking the waters. In short, a perfect day for going out on the waters as far as I was concerned. We paddled for about 2 hours in one of the bays of the north shore and spotted a sting ray in the shallow waters. It was a special experience for me since I've never seen a sea creature in the wild while paddling in all the years I've been kayaking out at sea.
